Digital Content Creation

The Digital Content Creation program equips students with both technical and creative skills through training in professional software and hands-on projects that simulate real-world production workflows.
These skills are applicable across visual, video, and audio content creation, preparing students for entry-level roles in web production, online content creation, and social media management.

The program consists of a combination of 12 core units and 12 units from elective classes.

4 mandatory and 4 elective classes, 8 classes in total

The 12 core units  include four introductory classes that cover the fundamentals of graphic design, photography, film production, and multimedia.
Students then select an additional 12 units from a list of elective intermediate classes to deepen their expertise in specific areas of interest. Options include video editing, advanced photography, critical thinking, intermediate graphic design, audio production, social networking, social media, online marketing and 3D animation, among others.
This flexible structure in the elective courses allow students to tailor their learning experience while gaining a broad understanding of the various disciplines within digital content creation.

The program is short enough to be completed by students in one of our Media disciplines, for our Dual Enrollment students in our local highschools, and by students interested in geeting that extra background in media creation.

You can also transfer to a 4 year institution or complement this degree (Certificate or Asociates) with another Media degree in one of our departments, to opt up to highwer positions in the industry.
